Care Instructions
We advise adhering to standard care procedures when handling your concrete items. While concrete boasts durability, it is not impervious to damage, and excessive force may result in harm to your piece.
-
Given concrete's inherent porosity, while our sealant offers protection against staining by harsh chemicals, promptly cleaning spills is recommended to preserve product durability. For routine cleaning, employ a cloth dampened in warm water with mild dish soap of neutral pH.
-
Immediate cleansing is advisable if your product comes into contact with highly acidic liquids (such as lemon juice, mustard, vinegar, wine, soda, citric acid, or tomatoes) or other aggressive chemicals or solvents (like perfumes, ammonia, acetone, hydrogen peroxide, etc.) to prevent staining.
Simply use warm water and a microfibre cloth to wipe down.
-
To safeguard the longevity of our products, we apply a fine layer of high-performance sealant, enhancing colors and shielding the sink from wear and staining. Please refrain from using tape, such as painter's tape or duct tape, on the products, as this could impair the sealant.
-
Scratching: Avoid cutting on the concrete surface, refrain from dragging heavy, rough or sharpe objects across the surface, use coasters, trivets and cutting boards.
Staining: Promptly clean all spills (incl. water). Highly acidic spills such as wine, mustard, citrus etc should be cleaned immediately.
Heat: Our concrete is heat resistant, however direct sunlight may gradually change the colour of the concrete over time.
-
Although engineered concrete is incredibly durable, there is a gradual development of character in concrete surfaces over time. While infrequent, this may manifest as hairline cracking—tiny, superficial lines that do not compromise the structural integrity of the material. We perceive these as enhancing the piece's character, rendering it even more unique!
